The Salem Fire Department Honor Guard was created in 2006.
The mission of the Honor Guard is to honor our fellow emergency service personnel at memorials and funerals. The Honor Guard is comprised of six members and trains at least once every quarter. The Honor Guard attends approx. 10 event per year.
Members serve with honor and dignity at funeral and memorial services for our fallen Local 314 brothers and sisters past and present. The Honor guard also participates in parades, special events, and other ceremonial occasions.
