The on-line vote results for using up to $2500.00 out of savings to assist the in the campaign for engine 11 are in.

At this point I do not foresee a need to use any money out of savings at this time. But if the need arises in the near future this will help us lessen the impact to the general fund budget as we move forward.  Thank you to all of you that took the time to vote.

Also, tonight begins the first of four public input meetings over the City budget. Tonights meeting will be held at the West Salem Roth's beginning at 6:00 pm. If you have any family, friends or neighbors that live in West Salem please have them come and voice their concerns regarding the impact of reduced fire services in West Salem, and the possibility of more proposed cuts in next fiscal years budget. 

The next three meetings are:

Feb. 2^nd (Thur.) 6pm, Public Input Meeting, S. Salem High School (Library)

Feb. 6^th (Mon.) 6pm, Public Input Meeting, Salem Coalition for Equality (Spanish)

Feb. 8^th (Wed.) 6pm, Public Input Meeting, Center 50+, 2615 Portland Rd NE
