Brothers and Sisters,  It is unfortunate that we find ourselves here today.  I am  surprised by their decision to close two fire stations at this time, as you are aware we recommended one station and several other options.  We are in for a tough road ahead, there is significant impact to our members, our families and the community as we recognize the impact's of these cuts; for this I am sorry.  Please keep in mind we are looking at this for the long term - protecting our contract and retaining ALL our members.  We will continue to work for toward solutions, we will need your assistance in the future. Please keep your focus and unite as we work through this.
