Union Hall Vote 2009: PASSED
Posted
On: Jun 18, 2009 (14:11:55)
Union Hall Vote 2009
Total Votes: 75
Yes Votes: 45 No Votes: 30
Result: Passed
Motion: for a $10.00 union hall assessment to allow move to new office (the old dance studio between Magoo's and the liquor store).
This would allow the membership to move to a bigger office space. (Below our current office. The space between Magoo's and the liquor store. This space also has enough room to hold our meetings and other union functions). After the initial move and setup we would take extra money from the assessment and place it into an account earmarked for the purchase of our own union hall at a later time. This new space would be about $1000.00 a month increase from our current rent. That would leave approximately $500.00 a month left over to be placed into the account.
Vote has passed re: $10 assessment for new union hall (description, below email).
Thank you to all those that voted. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks Brad
